The Premise
Women are going missing across the city. Not one, not two. Enough that the pattern stops looking like coincidence and starts looking like someone is choosing.
Detective Shanel Reid is forced into the investigation, and the case pulls her toward Sebastian, a dangerous man whose obsession with one woman sits at the center of everything. The longer the file stays open, the more bodies and broken families it leaves behind.
The Tone
Forever My Lady is a grounded crime thriller. It is shot dark and close, it moves at the speed of a real investigation, and it keeps its attention on the cost. Every name on the board belongs to somebody. That is the film's argument.
Who You Follow
Det. Shanel Reid, played by Torrei Hart, is the investigator who inherits a case nobody wants to name out loud. Det. Dale Dumars, played by Darius McCrary, works it beside her, and Captain Harris, played by Clifton Powell, runs the division above them.
On the other side of the file is Sebastian, played by Luca Della Valle, and Irene Ludwick, played by Jamie Bernadette, the woman at the center of his fixation.
